Our Custom Design Process

Implementing a successful protective packaging solution is not an easy task, which is why we offer customizable packaging. At Keiding Inc., we know that each client has different packaging needs, and customizability is essential. So let’s take a look at our simple 4-step procedure in our custom design process.

1. Analysis

The first step in our custom design process is collecting all the pertinent information needed to create your packaging, such as drawings, files, and the product. Once we’ve thoroughly analyzed the information, we can determine the suitability of Type 1 – Heavy Wall Molded Pulp for your project.

2. Design

After reviewing all necessary documents during the analysis step, we will begin the design process. We will create a rough concept for your packaging solution and present them to you in the form of a drawing/packaging assembly. Revisions to the drawing may follow.

3. Prototyping

During the third step, we will design a prototype using sample parts. The prototype will be evaluated, discussed, and tested. Changes will be made until the prototype is above satisfactory. 

4. Tooling & Manufacturing

Using our 3D-printing technology, we are able to manufacture high-quality products with exceptional accuracy rates. Production parts are made and shipped within days of receiving a purchase order.
