Our history

In 1920, Andrew Keiding began to make paper mache flowerpots in his kitchen from newspaper and wax. These pots were then sold to local churches and demand continued to grow from there. Keiding quickly filed a patent in 1934 for Molded Paper Article and the Art of the Manufacture Thereof. Keiding Paper Product Company – Milwaukee, WI, was founded in 1939, and the history of manufacturing heavy-wall molded pulp/molded fiber in the United States was born. Some of the same original molding techniques are still used to this day.

Ever since the 1990s, our focus at Keiding Inc. has been to design and customize molded pulp products for protective packaging applications. Our goal is to build high-quality products and provide high-quality services to our clients. We strive to exceed customer expectations and customize products that will fit their budget, wants, and needs.
